The second meeting of local residents took place on Friday 16th in Warnham.

More details and further updates were provided about the plans from Britaniacrest to build the incinerator and when they expect to submit the plans to the council.

There are still worrying facts coming to light about the proposal and the north Horsham residents are formulating clear strategy to attempt to halt the incinerator going ahead.

Keep any eye in town in the coming weeks for the anti-incinerator campaign and please offer as much help as possible and help us try and protect the Horsham country side.

I was a Committee member of HALT which fought WSCC plans to include incineration in the County Waste Plan. I wrote the response to the Waste Plan for the group. I would be happy to meet you to share our learnings from that campaign in particular how to write planning responses that are written in planning terms that the Authority has to recognise as valid. Our response was very long, but highly effective.
I do not have time to get personally involved again due to other commitments at the moment, but wish your group every success.

    Kind Regards
