Planning application for local incinerator
Dear Parents and Carers,
It has recently been brought to our attention, and you may be aware, through the local press and BBC news, of the planning application currently in progress for an incinerator to the north of Horsham.
Warnham Parish Council strongly object to this planning application as it is felt that it will severely impact Warnham and the surrounding areas both visually and environmentally – including noise, emissions, traffic. It is not for local residential waste – it is for business and commercial waste which will be trucked in from all over the south east, not from Horsham. The 95m stack is taller than Big Ben and the Statue of Liberty and will be visible from a 15km radius. It will be the Horsham/Warnham landmark for the next 25yrs+.
If you are concerned about a massive industrial scale incinerator and its emissions being produced, you are encouraged to send comments/objections to email@example.com stating the application number below by 19 January 2017
